Patna, June 4 -- Bihar State Vigilance Bureau on Wednesday nabbed two police Sub Inspectors while they were accepting bribe of Rs 40,000 in Kaimur district of the state.

Official sources said here that on the basis of a complaint lodged with the Bureau by Chandni Singh, a trap was laid headed by Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Sameer Chandra Jha.

Both the Sub Inspectors -- Lucky Anand and Rashid Kamal -- were caught red-handed while accepting Rs 40,000 as bribe, sources added.

"Arrested Sub Inspectors are posted at Bhagwanpur police station in Kaimur district," the sources said, adding that both the policemen would be produced before a special vigilance court of Patna after their interrogation.
