Akola, Nov. 3 -- Police investigating the sensational murder of Akola resident Akshay Vinayak Nagalkar (26) have recovered two pistols, bone fragments believed to be of the victim and a four-wheeler used in the crime.

The murder, described by officials as meticulously planned, was allegedly carried out inside a rented hotel on the Gaygaon road.

The investigation gained momentum after the arrest of the ninth accused, identified as Shivhari Ravindra Mali, who was detained in Betul, Madhya Pradesh.

His arrest followed a series of detentions across Maharashtra, including Chandrakant Borkar, Ashish Wankhade, Srikrishna Bhakare, Ashok Bhakare, Rohit Parate, Amol Unhale, Akash Shinde and Narayan Mesre.
