Kannur, May 3 -- Thalassery police on Saturday arrested three persons, including two migrant labourers hailing from Bihar, in connection with the alleged gangrape of a 32-year-old woman from Kannur.
The incident occurred on April 26 night near the railway track close to Thalassery railway station.
According to police, they arrested Prajith (30) of Muzhupilangad in Kannur and Asif (19) of Durgapura and Shahbul (24) of Pranpur, the two hail from Bihar.
The alleged assault took place on a short-cut road connecting Thalassery railway station to the new bus stand around 2230 hrs.
