Shahjahanpur (UP), Sept. 14 -- Two cloth merchants were killed and one was seriously injured in a collision involving a car and an unidentified vehicle in the Khutar area of Shahjahanpur district, Uttar Pradesh, according to a police officer.
Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural) Diksha Bhanware stated that Kaleem, Irshad, and Navi Ahmed, residents of Puranpur police station area in Pilibhit district, were traveling to Lakhimpur market by car to sell cloth when the incident occurred.
"As they approached Laungapur forest in the Khutar area, an unidentified vehicle collided with their car, resulting in the deaths of Navi Ahmed (57) and Kaleem Ahmed (37) at the scene, while Irshad sustained serious injuries," she added.
