Nagpur, Dec. 12 -- Two individuals involved in an alleged physical fight at the Maharashtra Vidhan Bhavan in Mumbai have been sentenced to two days' civil imprisonment, the Privileges Committee announced today.
The committee identified Nitin Deshmukh and Sarjerao Takle as guilty of misconduct for engaging in a fight on July 17, 2025, within the legislative premises, an act deemed damaging to the institution's image.
The committee also recommended linking Vidhan Bhavan's entry pass system to police criminal records to prevent visitors with criminal backgrounds from entering.
