Hazaribagh, Dec. 29 -- The GT Road under Chauparan block once again witnessed deadly road accidents on Monday, claiming two lives and leaving two youths critically injured in separate incidents.
The recurring mishaps have raised serious questions over the alleged negligence of the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) and the construction agency engaged in road widening work.
The first accident occurred near the dangerous slope and sharp turn at Danua Ghat, where a motorcycle carrying three youths lost control and crashed. Sumit Kumar, son of Sanju Singh, died on the spot, while Raja Kumar and Lucky Kumar sustained serious injuries.
