Lucknow, Sept. 5 -- Two separate road accidents in Lucknow today claimed two lives and left another person seriously injured.
The first accident occurred around 8:30 am today near Gate No. 1 of Scooters India on the Scooters India-Piparsand Road in the Sarojini Nagar area. A 35-year-old man, identified as Lallai, a resident of Gyanpur village under Soharamau police station in Unnao district, was run over by a dumper truck loaded with sand (maurang).
Lallai was assisting the driver in reversing the vehicle when he accidentally came under the rear wheels. The dumper driver fled the scene, leaving the vehicle behind.
Local residents alerted the police, who arrived promptly, took the body into custody, and sent it for postmortem. A case has ...
