Hazaribagh, Oct. 3 -- A road accident occurred near Fusri Bridge under Bahera Panchayat in Hazaribagh, resulting in the immediate death of two individuals.
The victims have been identified as Abhishek Murmu, 25, and Bunty Soren, 30, son and son-in-law, respectively, of Mangra Manjhi, a resident of Kajri Sonra Tola. Reports indicate that both were struck by an unidentified vehicle, which fled the scene immediately after the collision.
Following the incident, Bahera Panchayat head Devaki Mahto rushed to the site and met with the bereaved families, offering condolences and support.
Police personnel, along with the Churchu Block C.O., also arrived at the scene to initiate preliminary investigations.
