Fatehpur/Bijnor, Sept. 29 -- A firecracker explosion in the Kalyanpur area of Fatehpur district killed a man and his daughter today afternoon. The incident occurred while they were making firecrackers at home in preparation for Diwali. The victim's son was critically injured and has been hospitalized.
According to the police, Noor Mohammad (50), a resident of Rewari village, was illegally manufacturing firecrackers inside his house with the help of his daughter Tayabba (20) and son Sher. A sudden explosion shook the neighborhood, prompting locals to alert the authorities. Firefighters rushed to the scene and managed to douse the flames.
