Amethi, Aug. 28 -- Two bike riders were killed in Raniganj locality of Amethi district, on the Ayodhya-Raebareli highway, after a speeding UPSRTC (Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation) bus collided head-on with their motorcycle, on Thursday morning.
With the help of local residents, both victims were rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared them dead on arrival.
The deceased have been identified as Muzaffar Hussain (60) and Ameerul Hasan, both residents of Asandra in Barabanki district.Upon receiving the information, officers from the Bhale Sultan police station arrived at the scene and began an investigation.
