Bokaro, Feb. 7 -- At least two people, including a minor, were trampled to death and three people injured by a herd of elephants in Gangapur village in Bokaro district, Jharkhand, late Friday night.

Official sources said 60-year-old Somar Sao and his eight-year-old grandson Aman Kumar alias Ayush died on the spot after being attacked by the elephants. Three other members of the same family, Rahul, Rashi Kumari and Shanti Devi, were also injured in the incident and are undergoing treatment at a local hospital.
