Manchester, Oct. 2 -- Two people were killed and several others injured in what police are treating as a suspected terror attack at a synagogue in Manchester on Wednesday, the holiest day of the Jewish calendar.

Greater Manchester Police said a man rammed a car into pedestrians before stabbing worshippers near the synagogue.

Officers on scene shot the suspect, though have not yet confirmed his death after identifying "suspicious items on his person."The three injured reportedly remain in serious condition, reports BBC.
