Nashik, Oct. 19 -- Two persons died and another sustained serious injuries after falling from the Karma Bhoomi Express near Nashik Road railway station. Police confirmed that all three were travelling to Bihar when the tragic incident occurred around 8:45 p.m. The incident occurred yesterday night.

The mishap took place shortly after train number 12546, Karma Bhoomi Express which runs from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus in Mumbai to Raxaul in Bihar had departed from Nashik Road station.

Station Manager Prakash from Awadh railway station alerted Nashik railway officials after receiving information that three passengers had fallen from the moving train in the Dhakle Nagar area near the Jail Road Hanuman Temple.
