Hamirpur, Feb. 8 -- Two pilgrims were killed and 12 others injured when a tempo traveller in which they were travelling in rammed into a stationary truck in Rath area of Hamirpur district in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday.
Police sources here said that the accident took place on Bundelkhand Expressway when the tempo traveller carrying pilgrims was going back to Himachal Pradesh after the devotees took bath in Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj.
The sources said that on receiving the information, police rushed to the spot and admitted the injured to Community Health Centre (CHC) Rath, where doctors declared Nirmala (60) and Surendra Rana (54) dead.
