Lucknow, Dec. 16 -- In a major crackdown on drug trafficking, the Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) of Uttar Pradesh has arrested two active drug traffickers in separate operations and recovered a huge quantity of illegal cannabis along with vehicles, mobile phones, and cash.

According to an official communique here today, a joint team of ANTF Police Station Meerut and the Operational Unit Prayagraj arrested an inter-state drug trafficker involved in smuggling cannabis from Odisha.

The arrested accused has been identified as Sonupal, son of late Badan Singh, a resident of village Deepa, Police Station Jalesar, district Etah.
