Shillong, Aug. 19 -- Two inter-state drug traffickers were arrested and seized a huge consignment of illegal drugs in Meghalaya's East Jaintia Hills district in the wee hours of today.
Based on credible intelligence input, sleuths of the Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) of Meghalaya Police intercepted a Meghalaya Transport Corporation (MTC) bus on the way to Shillong from Silchar in Barak Valley of Assam.
"During the search of the bus, the ANTF recovered 10.35 Kg of Marijuana. 2,736 Tramadol Hydrocholoride capsules, 6000 Nitrazapem tablets from the bus," Vikash Kumar, the district
