Ambedkarnagar, March 18 -- In a late-night operation, the Ahmedabad ATS conducted a raid in Ramnagar Karri village under the Mahrua area of Ambedkarnagar and arrested two inter-state drug traffickers wanted in a narcotics case registered in Ahmedabad, officials said on Wednesday.

The raid took place at a poultry farm where the accused had allegedly been hiding and running an illegal drug trade under the guise of poultry operations.

The suspects, identified as residents of the Tarun area in Ayodhya, were wanted in connection with an NDPS case lodged earlier this year in Ahmedabad.

According to reports, the ATS team recovered several drums and white powder from the site, allegedly linked to narcotics.
