Nashik, Aug. 23 -- Two people were injured in a scuffle between two groups here in Maharashtra, police said today.
According to police, the incident took place in the Nandur Naka area on Friday evening when a two-wheeler driven by Pawan Nimse ran over the foot of Sunny Dhotre. A verbal altercation between the two quickly escalated into a fight between their respective groups.
Police intervened and took Sunny Dhotre into custody to maintain law and order. However, the situation worsened when members of the Nimse group gathered and, after a political leader allegedly made a provocative statement, rushed toward the Dhotre group.
