New Delhi, Dec. 24 -- Delhi Police arrested two alleged drug peddlers in outer North Delhi on Wednesday and seized 304 grams of heroin, valued at approximately Rs 1.5 crore in the international market, an official said.
According to the official, Taslim (23) and Salman Ansari (29) of Delhi's New Seemapuri were apprehended on December 21 following a tip-off, they said.
A police raiding team intercepted the duo on a motorcycle in Narela and recovered the contraband during a search.
A senior police officer said a case was registered under the relevant sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, and both accused were taken into custody.
