Hamirpur (Uttar Pradesh), Aug. 4 -- Two Haryana police personnel belonging to the state Crime Branch died today when their SUV collided with a tractor-trolley loaded with iron pipes near Dhanauri village in Rath Kotwali area on the Bundelkhand Expressway.
The impact was so intense that the police vehicle was completely mangled.
The deceased were identified as sub-inspector Sanjay Kumar (45), a resident of Tumbaheri, Jhajjar, and constable Amit (25), from Sitaram Gate, Jhajjar. Both were part of the crime branch team from Gurugram and were reportedly on the way to Chhattisgarh as part of an ongoing investigation.
