Agartala, April 21 -- Two district magistrates and collectors of Tripura's Gomati and Dhalai districts, Tarit Kanti Chakma and Saju Wahid A, have been conferred the prestigious PM Excellence Award-2024 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The award was conferred on Chakma and Wahid at a function held in Delhi's Vigyan Bhawan on the occasion of the Civil Services Day-2025 on Monday.
Chakma was awarded in the category of 'Holistic Development of Districts' for his contribution to the efficient implementation of various development projects like housing, healthcare, and mother and child welfare schemes in Gomati district.
