Nagpur/Gadchiroli, Aug. 22 -- Ahead of the traditional Pola festival, the drowning deaths of a six-year-old boy and a 36-year-old man have shocked Maharashtra's Gadchiroli, sources said.

Accirding to sources ,one of the victims was Rishan Prakash Pungati (6), resident of Koyar, and the other was Toka Dolu Mazzi (36), resident of Bhatpar, originally from Halevada village, Bairamgarh taluka, Bijapur district, Chhattisgarh).

Rishan, who studied in the first grade at the government ashram school in Laheri,was brought home by his father to celebrate Pola.
