Pilibhit, Oct. 17 -- Two brothers were killed and three others were seriously injured after an SUV fell into a ditch in the Gajraula Kala area of this district in Uttar Pradesh today, police sources said here.
According to sources in Gajraula police, Shivkumar (32) and Rooplal (50), both residents of Ajitpur Patpura, died on the spot when the SUV they were travelling in fell into the roadside ditch near Patpur village.
"Three others, including Khemkaran (50), a resident of Ajitpur Patpura and Chhatrapal were seriously injured in the incident," they said.
According to information, the occupants were returning from Jamunia to their village, Ajitpur Patpura.
