Pratapgarh/Lalitpur, Nov. 22 -- Two persons were killed in a road accident in UP's Pratapgarh district on Friday afternoon. The collision occurred on the Raniganj-Patti road near Lachhipur village under Raniganj police station limits, where two speeding motorcycles crashed head-on.
Both riders sustained critical injuries and were immediately rushed to the Raniganj Trauma Centre, where doctors declared them dead on arrival.
According to police sources, the deceased were identified as Abdul Gaffar (55), son of Mohammad Sharif, a resident of Budhora Kumbhapur village, and Priyanshu Yadav (20), son of Lal Bahadur Yadav, from Bora Sultanpur village under Raniganj police station in Pratapgarh.
