Budaun, Oct. 29 -- A roadways bus travelling from Agra to Haldwani rammed into a stationary truck near Alipur Madhaiya Tiraha on the Bareilly-Mathura Highway.

Two people, including an ITBP (Indo-Tibetan Border Police) jawan, were killed, and nine others sustained injuries, police said on Wednesday.

According to police reports, the incident took place around 12:30 a.m on Wednesday. The bus, belonging to the Agra Foundry Nagar Depot, was en route to Haldwani when it crashed into a parked truck.

Among the deceased were Hakim Singh (56), a resident of Saiya Pura Maharaj, Agra district, and Dharmendra (40), an ITBP jawan from Godhna, Ghiraur in Mainpuri district. Doctors at Ujhani Community Health Center declared both dead on arrival.
