Lucknow, Dec. 29 -- A two-day conference of presiding officers will be held in Uttar Pradesh capital Lucknow on January 20 and 21. The conference will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, while Governor Anandiben Patel will preside over the closing ceremony.
UP Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana made this announcement while addressing reporters here on Monday. He said that Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla will also be present at the conference.
Presiding officers and representatives from across the country will deliberate on various topics related to democratic processes, parliamentary procedures, and legislative strengthening.
