Jamtara, Sept. 24 -- In a major breakthrough against cybercrime, police in Jamtara district arrested two cyber criminals and seized cash worth Rs 9.91 lakh along with two laptops, five mobile phones, six SIM cards, and six ATM cards during raids in Samukpokhar and Rajabandh villages under Karmatand police station area.
Superintendent of Police Rajkumar Mehta informed in a press conference today that the arrested accused, identified as Ritesh Kumar Mandal and Pawan Mandal, were actively involved in cyber fraud targeting people across West Bengal, Bihar, Andhra Pradesh, and Assam.
