New Delhi, Oct. 17 -- A youth died and his cousin was injured when they were shot at by unidentified assailants in the northeast of the capital city, Delhi police said today.
The daring attack happenned in the Shastri Park police station jurisdiction.
According to police, the deceased has been identified as Uvam, while the injured, Nadeem, who sustained a gunshot wound to the abdomen, is currently undergoing treatment.
"The incident occurred late Thursday night, and we received a call regarding the matter at approximately 3 am," a senior police officer stated.
The officer further stated that the caller informed police about two individuals found lying in a pool of blood on the service road near Shastri Park Red Light Chowk.
