Bareilly (UP), May 5 -- Two children died after being run over by a train engine while they were crossing railway track while wearing mobile phone earpads near Izzatnagar railway station in Bareilly district here in Uttar Pradesh on Monday, police said here.
Izzat Nagar police station in-charge Vijendra Singh said that Aditya (14) and Pankaj (11), both residents of lane number 8 Izzatnagar had left home to get their hair cut. Aditya had a mobile lead in his ear. Pankaj was crossing the railway track while listening to music and he was using his mobile. "Meanwhile, the train engine from Kathgodam came towards Izzatnagar station. People standing near the railway track called out to the two children but they did not listen," he said.
