Patna, July 31 -- In a shocking incident in Patna, two children were burnt to death today as
a fire broke out when they were asleep at home after returning from school.
The victims have been identified as Anjali and Ansh.
However, father of the deceased children, Lalit Kumar Gupta, alleged that the children were first murdered and then the house was set on fire by unidentified criminals.
He said that criminals broke into the house located in the Janiapur police station area, and carried
out the gruesome act.
Lalit Kumar Gupta, who works at the Election Commission, said that both he his wife, Shobha Devi, who is a nurse at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Patna, were on duty, when the incident happened.
