Hardoi, Dec. 9 -- A motrcyclist and the pillion rider were killed on Tuesday on the Hardoi-Katra Bilhaur Highway when the driver lost control over the vehicle and crashed into a roadside tree resulting in the death of both riders, police said.
The accident took place near the Vrindavan Tiraaha in the Sawayajpur police station area.
The deceased have been identified as Vineet (28) and Deepak (26), residents of Nandbagh village in the Sawayajpur area. Both were said to be close friends and worked together as caterers. On Tuesday morning, they were heading on a motorcycle to an event located at the Katra-Bilhaur Highway, police said.
