Mumbai, Oct. 15 -- Police arrested two persons for occupying railway's handicapped seats with forged documents in a long distance train, officials said today.
According to the details during a routine ticket-checking operation on oct 13 on the Awadh Express Checking Officer Mohammad Zahid Qureshi, Chief Ticket Inspector found two physically active passengers-identified as Vishal (travelling under the alias Dileep M) and Sajeevan Singh (posing as Jitendra)-were found occupying berths 4 and 5 in Coach B1, which are reserved exclusively for differently-abled passengers. Neither individual possessed any valid proof of disability.
