Jaunpur (UP), March 5 -- Two persons, including the main accused, were arrested by the police allegedly for murder of a local Samajwadi Party (SP) leader from Line Bazar area of Jaunpur district here in Uttar Pradesh, a police officer said here on Wednesday.
Circle Officer (City) Ayush Srivastava said that Line Bazar police has solved the murder of SP booth president Rajesh Yadav alias Nate in Pariyava village within 24 hours and arrested the main accused Rahul Yadav and the informer Krishna Yadav. "The police has recovered the weapon used in the murder from their possession," he said.
