Srinagar, Oct. 8 -- Two soldiers of the Army's elite para unit have been missing since Monday evening during an anti-terror operation in the Gadool forests of South Kashmir's Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Official sources said that the soldiers went out of contact while part of a cordon and search operation (CASO) in the high-altitude forest range.
"The duo might have strayed from their team due to poor visibility and difficult terrain caused by recent snowfall," said an official, adding that the possibility of a terrorist angle cannot be ruled out at this stage.
