Lucknow, Dec. 21 -- A 26-year-old man, Shiv Prakash, was allegedly murdered and his wife Savita was also injured in the incident in Lucknow, police said today.
Police have taken the accused, identified as Satish Kumar, into custody and are investigating the matter.
According to Savita, Satish, a resident of the same locality living about 200 metres away, had a long-standing dispute with her husband. She said a case had earlier been registered against Satish due to the ongoing conflict.
Savita alleged that around 1 am on Sunday, Satish arrived at their house abusing and kicking the gate. When Shiv Prakash opened it, Satish allegedly dragged him onto the road and attacked him repeatedly with an iron rod. Savita claimed she was also assault...
