Imphal, March 21 -- Twenty seven Myanmar nationals, including a minor, were deported to Myanmar authority by Indian officials at the Moreh gate check post bridge on Friday.
The 27 people had illegally entered Manipur and were staying at the foreign detention centre, Sajiwa Jail in Imphal.
Myanmar immigration officers who were present at the Indo-Myanmar Friendship Bridge, Moreh, took away the 27 people in the presence of officials of the District Administration, Tengnoupal, Moreh Police, Indian immigration officials and personnel of Assam Rifles.
