Lucknow, Oct. 14 -- The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has shown strong signs of political resurgence following a massive rally held in Lucknow on October 9, where party chief Mayawati drew lakhs of supporters.

This unexpected show of strength has not only boosted morale of the party cadre but has also revived hopes of the BSP reclaiming its ground in Uttar Pradesh.

The rally, organized to mark the death anniversary of BSP founder Kanshi Ram, became a launchpad for Mayawati's renewed political push ahead of the 2026 Assembly elections.

After years of organizational stagnation and electoral setbacks, the BSP appears to be preparing for a comprehensive revival, combining ground-level mobilization with a revamped social engineering strategy.
