Ankara, March 17 -- Nine people injured in a nightclub fire in North Macedonia on Sunday have been brought to Turkiye for treatment, the Turkish Health Ministry said Monday.

At least 59 people have died and over 100 others have been hospitalized after the devastating fire broke out at a nightclub in Kocani, North Macedonia.

Three of the injured were transferred to the burn unit of Basaksehir Cam and Sakura City Hospital in Istanbul, while the remaining six were taken to Ankara Bilkent City Hospital in the capital Ankara for treatment, said the ministry in a statement.
