Ankara, March 14 -- Ankara will assess the risks if it decides to send its soldiers to Ukraine as peacekeepers and will coordinate its steps with NATO, as it is an indispensable member of the alliance, a diplomatic source in the Turkish capital told Sputnik.
On Thursday, Bloomberg reported, citing sources, that Turkey might send its military to participate in a peacekeeping mission in Ukraine. However, a Turkish diplomatic source told Sputnik that Ankara had not taken any concrete steps in this direction, adding that the media reports were based on ongoing discussions and not on any official decisions.
