Istanbul, July 29 -- Turkey is ready to host a possible meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Monday.

"We believe that this war must end already. At every opportunity, I emphasize our readiness to host a meeting at the level of leaders in our territory. The sincere wish of Turkey is that, just as the negotiating table was previously organized in Istanbul, a table for discussing peace will be arranged in Turkey in the near future, and this bloody war will come to an end," Erdogan said after a cabinet meeting.
