Vijayawada, April 7 -- Tuni railway station in the South Central Railway was upgraded under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme for Rs 19.13 crore.
The passenger amenities, including a premium air-conditioned waiting hall, modular toilets, improved booking and reservation offices, stainless steel seating, and upgraded drinking water facilities, were provided to the passengers in Tuni railway station.
The station has also been equipped with Divyangjan-friendly infrastructure, such as tactile pathways, dedicated ramps, accessible toilets, and reserved parking spaces.
