Visakhapatnam, July 27 -- The All India Bahujan Samaj Party (AIBSP) has appointed retired banker and social activist Maddu Tulasi Das as its Visakhapatnam district president.
The appointment letter was formally handed over by AIBSP National Coordinator and former Andhra Pradesh DGP Dr J Poornachandra Rao at a function held on Sunday.
Congratulating Tulasi Das, Dr Rao lauded his grassroots journey and dedication to the upliftment of BCs, SCs, and STs. He urged party leaders to intensify the fight for the rights of the underprivileged and ensure their rightful place in governance and public life.
