Tirumala, Oct. 28 -- The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) Trust Board, the highest decision making body of the Tirumala Temple, in its meeting today approved construction of a new guest house with 100 rooms and modern facilities at the Sri Kodandarama Swamy Temple in Vontimitta (Kadapa district) at a cost of Rs. 37 crores for the convenience of devotees.
Briefing the media aftr a marathon Board meeting held under his chairmanship here, TTD Charman B R Naidu said the board also decided to establish a Pavitra Vanam in 1.35 acres at a cost of Rs. 2.96 crore to provide more pleasant and spiritual atmosphere to devotees at the Sri Kodandarama Swamy Temple in Vontimitta.
