Tirumala, Aug. 16 -- Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) Chairman B.R. Naidu today visited
the Sri Venkateswara Swamy and Sri Padmavathi Ammavaru temples at T. Nagar in Chennai.
Upon his arrival, the officials welcomed the Chairman with Poorna Kumbha Swagatham. Special pujas were performed, and he received ashirvachanam.
Speaking on the occasion, Naidu said that priority will be given to the development of the T. Nagar temple.
He informed that he had directed the engineering officials to prepare plans for the construction of the Vimana Gopuram over the sanctum sanctorum.
He stated that a Local Advisory Committee will soon be constituted to take up developmental activities for both TTD temples in Chennai.
