Tirupati, May 3 -- A Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Board Member and BJP State spokesperson on Sunday alleged serious irregularities in the preparation of Tirumala Laddu Prasadam, claiming that adulterated ghee was used during the tenure of the previous government led by Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.
In a video statement, the leader said that among various instances of alleged corruption at the sacred Tirumala temple, the most concerning was the supply of adulterated ghee for preparing the prasadam offered to the deity. The spokesperson further claimed that the substance supplied was not genuine ghee but a mixture of chemicals and synthetic ingredients, which was used in offerings.
