Tirumala, Nov. 19 -- The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Trust Board, chaired by B R Naidu, met in an emergency session at Annamayya Bhavan today and approved several major decisions ahead of the upcoming Vaikuntha Ekadasi festivities.
TTD Executive Officer Sri A.K. Singhal and other board members were present.
The Board announced that Vaikuntha Dwara Darshan will be provided for ten days, from December 30 to January 8. Following the directions of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, the TTD has earmarked a major share of the darshan hours for common devotees. Out of the total 182 hours available during the period, over 164 hours have been reserved exclusively for general pilgrims.
