Ranchi, Feb. 27 -- Ranchi police have arrested Adil Ansari alias Deva Ji, identified as the sub zonal commander of the banned extremist outfit TSPC, from Lohardaga town, an official release said on Friday.
Senior Superintendent of Police, Ranchi, received specific inputs on February 26 about Ansari's presence in Lohardaga. Acting on the information, a raiding team was formed under the supervision of senior officers.
Police said Ansari, a resident of Mahabir Nagar under Khelari police station in Ranchi district, was hiding in a rented house in the Itihas Mohalla area of Lohardaga.
