Washington, Aug. 30 -- US President Donald Trump is negotiating with European allies the deployment of private US military companies to Ukraine as part of a long-term peace plan, The Telegraph newspaper reported on Saturday, citing sources.
The proposal is a workaround to Trump's pledge not to send US troops to Ukraine. Private military companies could help reinforce Ukraine's defenses, establish new bases and protect US businesses, the UK daily reported.
