Washington, May 26 -- US President Donald Trump said on Monday that he was considering taking $3 billion in grant funding away from Harvard University and distributing the federal money among trade schools across the United States.
"I am considering taking Three Billion Dollars of Grant Money away from a very antisemitic Harvard, and giving it to TRADE SCHOOLS all across our land," Trump said on Truth Social.
This redistribution, he argued, would be a great and "badly needed" investment for the US.
On Sunday, Trump said that Harvard should provide data on foreign students who study there. He called on the Ivy League university to stop asking for funding from the government.
