Washington, Aug. 5 -- US President Donald Trump joked on Tuesday, when inspecting construction on the roof of the West Colonnade of the White House, that he was building nuclear missiles.

"Nuclear missiles," Trump yelled to reporters from the roof when asked about the construction he was inspecting.

Later, the White House said on its official X account that the president was looking at some ongoing improvement projects.

"Anything I do is financed by me, so you do not have to worry. It is contributed - just like my salary is contributed," Trump added, commenting on the construction works.
